South London Drill rapper SL returns with Different Dude, his second project of the year following his SE25 EP. The mixtape is a reminder that he is in not like other Drill rappers. Rather than portraying himself as some kind of bulletproof superman gangsta, he is a bit more blasé about the street life and his music has more of a laid back vibe to it. The title track, “Different Dude” is a prime example of this and it’s one of the highlights as is “Trenches”, the mixtape includes the lead single “Felt Tips”.
