Blanco is one of the most exciting acts within the fast rising UK Drill scene. Mixing the Drill sound with Baile Funk he has created his own sound. That really comes together on his debut mixtape, City of God, which he released today.
The mixtape continues his exploration with the sound and even takes inspiration from the classic Brazilian of the same name. As well as including features from UK heavyweights NSG, Loski, K Trap and Central Cee it also includes a collaboration with Sango. It was a long time coming and hopefully we can hear more music from the pair together.
As well as “Shippuden” which is one of City of God‘s highlights, the mixtape also includes “The Great Escape”, “Magneto” and “Surveillance”. The mixtape is out now on Apple Music and Spotify, you can listen to it in full below.
