LA brother/sister duo BETWEEN FRIENDS share the final instalment of their mixtape series, tape 003. The five track mixtape follows tape 001 and tape 002 which they released just last month.
‘“tape 003’ is dedicated to isolation and finding sanctuary within reflection,” the duo explains. “We look back on unsettled feelings and relationships,” they add. “Finding solitude in the release of letting these stories go,” say the duo.
Further building on their sound, this mixtape seems to be rooted in lush, dream pop gems. Their new single “lonely” is a fine example of that as is the EP’s final track “video games”. BETWEEN FRIENDS’ tape 003 mixtape is out now on Apple Music and Spotify, you can listen to it in full below.
