Irish alt-pop artist April explores all that comes with growing up and being away from family on her new single “Someone That I Made”. It follows her previous single, “Piece of Me”, which was released in addition to the news of her signing to Atlantic Records UK.
“Someone That I Made is about being away from comfort and missing family and safe familiar places,” explains April. It’s about growing up and realising everything you need is already there no matter where you go.”
April created the songs’s visuals, which feature various clips of her younger self having the time of her life with family. April wrote the song with Rina Sawayama producer, Clarence Clarity with the pair collaborating online. “Someone That I Made” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
