The song is the follow up to JÁNA’s debut FlowerworksEP which was co-written and produced by Little Dragon. JÁNA explains, “Green is very straightforward to me. It’s reflecting on jealousy within a relationship.” She adds, “this song is really just saying why can’t we just enjoy things how they are, and leave our egos aside.” The song is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
