Donna Missal shares her magical new single ahead of her US tour supporting CHVRCHES. “(to me) your face is love” was the first song that Donna wrote in person and in the studio with UK producer Sega Bodega (Lapsley, ShyGirl) following lockdown. “I went to London to finish songs I had started virtually with Sega Bodega. We made this song there in studio, working together in person for the first time,” Donna explains.
She describes it as being, “a love letter,” that was written while she was, “wanting to be around people, I wanted to make what I could dance to.” She adds, “when I got back to my flat from the studio that night, I danced around to our demo and felt so excited for the first time in a long time.” The release of her new single allows her to share that feeling with the world.Donna has just begun her US tour supporting Scottish synth-pop trio CHVRCHES.
