Nas – King’s Disease II (Album)

Almost a year after releasing King’s Disease, New York-based rapper Nas is back with the sequel King’s Disease II. The first instalment was a comeback album after Nas’ forgettable self titled collaboration with Kanye West in 2018.

King’s Disease is an alternative name for gout, a disease that is said to be caused by overindulgence in food and drink. Nas’ 2020 album earned him his first Grammy Award, 24 years after his debut album. So it’s ironic that Nas is expanding the album into a series of projects.

Much like the 2020 album, King’s Disease II was produced by Hit-Boy – why change a winning formula? The album includes features from Eminem, Ms Lauryn Hill, YG, Charlie Wilson as well as more artists. King’s Disease II is out now on Apple Music and Spotify, you can listen to it in full below.
