Luna Morgenstern celebrates freedom and liberation on her upbeat new single, “Done”. She was inspired to write the song after having a big argument with her father, which was especially tough for because he is also her best friend.
“I sing this to all the women who are brought up to please the male gaze (whether it’s intentional or not),” Luna notes. “‘Done’ is about finding independence, it’s an ode to freedom,” she says. “To being alive and it is a reminder to be more loving to yourself and to acknowledge your own worth,” Luna concludes.
It is the follow up to her debut single “In My Head” which she released last month. Both songs are taken from Luna’s forthcoming debut EP, Taking The Blow, which will be released on July 8th. “Done” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
