West London-based singer/songwriter Matilda Mann explores the brighter side of a breakup on her new single “My Point of You”. The song was inspired by a friend of Matilda’s who refound many of her interests that she’d stopped doing while she was in a relationship. “I wrote “My Point Of You” about watching a friend of mine start doing all the things she loves doing again,” Matilda explains. “After being with someone who slowly changed her,” she adds. “Growing back into yourself, and knowing you don’t need that person to make you happy,” Matilda says. She refers to that as, “the best part of a breakup.” “My Point of You” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
