Photo Credit: Gaelle Beri.Rachel Sermanni has today announced her new EP titled Swallow Me that charts her journey to motherhood. The EP will be released in June and is the follow up to her last project, So It Turns, which was released on 2019. She has also released a video of the EP’s lead single and title track “Swallow Me”. The song was mostly written while she was pregnant and on tour in the US. “This song is me asking for some sort of relief, or maybe release,” notes Rachel. “I’m basically asking that the universe give me a break or, at least, a pat on the back,” she adds. “Some form of divine acknowledgement of the heavy lifting I’d been doing (physically and psychologically) in coming to surrender into the changes,” she continues. “Of becoming a Ma – and finding love in what felt like a scary situation,” Rachel concludes. “Swallow Me” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
