Sam Tompkins pleads with his lover to try and get sober on his new single “Charlie”. He explains, “this song is about being in a relationship with someone and realising that when they get drunk, she always go back to a guy called Charlie.” He adds, “however, it’s also a metaphor for cocaine. i like that you can read it on two levels.” The video also has another metaphor on the term, taking a trip too. “Charlie” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
