Bristol based band, Make Friends. explore the affects of addiction on their new single “Hesitate”. The band’s guitarist explains, “Hesitate is about dealing with the weight and responsibility of having a friend that is suffering from addiction.” He adds, “the song portrays an internal struggle where you want to be there for them, but at the same time you don’t know the right words to say or actions to take, and you’re worried you might fail them.” Lockdown meant that alot of places were closed, including the band’s rehearsal space so they, “had to play quietly with headphones on in our living room.” Their determination and perserverance was worth it because, “Hesitate” is a lovely, smooth and groovy track. “Hesitate” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
