Uneima is the solo project of French indie band Fiasco’s guitarist Jean. I didn’t pay nearly enough attention in my French classes when I was in school to understand the lyrics to his new single but he has kindly provided a translation. Jean says, “the vocals are about the emptiness of the streets in a small town described through the point of view of someone walking under the trees in autumn thinking about his love.” “L’étreinte” is the first release from Uneima’s forthcoming debut album and it’s out now on Apple Music aswell as Spotify.
