Last week Meek Mill made claims that, “(Drake) don’t write his own raps!” on twitter. Meek Mill claimed that the verse Drake provided for “R.I.C.O.” was written by a rapper named Quentin Miller (QM). He has worked with Drake in the past and has songwriting credits on Drake’s recent mixtape If You’re Reading This it’s Too Late. On the weekend, Drake released a Meek Mill diss song titled “Charged Up” and Meek was supposed to reply on Monday but never did. It seems that Drake got tired of waiting and has released another diss track, “back to back,” as he puts it. This one is more aggressive than the first one and also includes taunts to Funkmaster Flex who seemed to take Meek’s side in this ‘beef’. Meek’s surely got to respond now, especially since he started this.
UPDATE: “Back To Back” is now out on iTunes, Google Play and Spotify.
