Gracie Ella describes herself as being, “the soulful Taylor Swift.” She confesses that like Taylor, “I can’t stop writing about love.” Her new single is a soulful exploration of a burgeoning relationship. She originally wrote the chorus for Steven Kozmeniuk (pka “Koz”) to sample but he asked her to finish the song when he heard it. I’m thankful that he did because it resulted in a lovely song. “Butterflies” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
