Hotel Decor is the musical project of Csaba Laszlo which gives Indie and Pop music a psychedelic, experimental twist. He began writing music his new EP over a year ago when he was releasing music under the name NVY. But as he continued to work on the songs he felt that the music was heading in a new direction.
“I really enjoyed making a collection of stylistically different songs,” the Canadian artist explains. “It was an exciting project to work on as there wasn’t really any expectation as to what I would write or try to make,” Laszlo notes.
It’s an interesting EP as each of the four tracks are rather different. The EP’s opening track, “All The Rage”, is a delightful, breezy Indie Pop track. Whereas the EP’s closer, “Maybe Not Tonight”, is more of an up tempo all out Indie track. The range is good and it makes this a compelling debut for Laszlo’s new project.
