Cautious Clay – Deadpan Love (Album)

Cautious Clay has achieved alot since he first emerged three years ago with his breakout debut single “Cold War”. He’s released three EPs Blood Type, Table of Context and RESONANCE. He was personally enlisted by FINNEAS for a remix of Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes”, Taylor Swift sampled him and he’s written with John Legend and John Mayer.

Now the emerging RnB artist is ready to release his long awaited debut album, Deadpan Love . He describes deadpan love as being, “something that I have inside me.” He adds that it is, “the way I cope with the worst of what the world has to offer.” Cautious explains, “this is an album about those complexities in friendship, investigating toxic behavior and self-worth.”

The album includes includes the rather excellent “Wildfire” and Saba-assisted “Strange Love”. It also includes his previous singles “Strange Love”, “Agreeable”, “Karma & Friends” , “Dying In The Subtlety”, “Roots”.
