“Wildfire” is a beautiful song by singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Cautious Clay. Not only is the song really good but the video is too. “It can feel like a struggle to be fully seen, and there’s an anxiety around reinventing oneself to stay true to oneself,” Cautious says. “This video attempts to capture that collection of feelings—on display to the world, trying to put on the right face,” he concludes.
It is the latest single from Cautious’ debut album, Deadpan Love, which is due for release on June 25th. You can pre-save it now on Apple Music. Cautious will make his live return at this summer’s Lollapalooza, which runs from July 29th-August 1st in Chicago. “Wildfire” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
