Margarida explains, “it was born from my anxieties as an older sister to three young girls.” She was inspired to write the song after a conversation with her younger sisters who are entering adulthood.
“I felt the need to write a cautionary song,” she she says. “Something to remind about growing slowly and calmly in order to achieve a strong, happy and mature growth,” she concludes. “consume” is the latest single to be taken from Vaarwell’s forthcoming Consume & Grow EP which will be released this month. “consume” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
