The chilled and funky track, reflects on their time spent in the City of Angels during writing sessions. They had been sent there by their previous label to “write a hit” with a long list of co-writers. In spite of the duo having achieving their success while working independently.
“Unfortunately, it was less fruitful than desired and we left with literally nothing to show” explain Aquilo. It was after they returned home from the trip and took a break from music that they wrote “Out in LA”.
It is the first song to be taken from the duo’s new album which will be released in October. Something that they say that they’ve, “never been more excited and proud to bring something to life.” The story behind this track is proof of the saying, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’. “Out in LA” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
