Samm Henshaw returns with a new single “Still Broke” and reveals details for his long awaited debut album. The South London-based multifaceted, multi instrumental artist has today shared “Still Broke” which features Jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold. “It’s a song about how you can have everything you want in the world but still feel quite empty,” Samm explains. “And how success is actually internal—which is a lesson I’d needed to learn,” he continues.
Samm was going through a tough time when he wrote the song, he was dealing with a breakup and had just been dropped by his label. The introspective song is a reminder that money can’t buy you happiness, as shown in the video and the humerous artwork above. “Still Broke” is taken from his long awaited debut album, Untidy Soul, which will be released in October. “Still Broke” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
