
Norwegian singer-songwriter and producer, girl in red offers her debut album if i could make it go quiet. She writes Rock inspired Pop music that covers a range of subjects including queer romance and mental health.
“I’m shedding light on the darkest parts of my mind and I’m letting everyone in,” she explains. “‘if i could make it go quiet‘ is me simply trying to understand what the fuck is going on,” she notes.
It can’t be easy to open yourself up to the world and it must be even harder to make something entertaining based on times of distress. girl in red has managed to do both, she is a magician. The album’s opener, “Serotonin” sets the tone for the deep and personal emotional ride she takes us on.
