French DJ, musician and producer Myd’s debut album Born A Loser is so good. It’s 14 track Dance album that’s so full of life and energy and is a joy to listen to. The album is mostly rooted in House music but there are obvious Funk, Soul and Indie Pop influences throughout it too. It comes at a time when many countries are conducting trails for Covid safe live events. Which is fitting because this album’s natural habit would be a packed nightclub, festival or gig, it would sound amazing there.
“Let You Speak” is one of the best tracks on the album, checkout his brilliant video for the song if you haven’t already. The album also includes his previous singles “Together We Stand”, the Mac DeMarco-assisted “Moving Men” and “Born A Loser”. This is certainly one of the best albums to be released in 2021 so far.
