Rising R&B artist Joyce Wrice shares stripped back visuals for “Overgrown”, the title track of her debut album. It’s one of the best albums that have been released this year, check it out here if you haven’t already. “We made ‘Overgrown’ over a span of 3 years and this music is a result of me tending my garden,”Joyce notes. “My garden, my emotions, and my thoughts are full of a variety of colorful flowers but they were overrun by weeds,” she adds.
She describes her new single as being about, “self doubt, anxiety, overthinking, fear of rejection, being comfortable in being uncomfortable, self love.” Things that we’ve all felt at different times but the chorus brings a much needed reminder that we can overcome it all. “Overgrown” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
