Experimental Folk artist, heka today announces a new EP and shares its first single, “(a) wall”. Her new EP, (a), will be released on May 19th via Balloon Machine Records. It will be her first project on the label and be the follow up to her 2019 EP, other drugs.
She has also shared the EP’s first single “(a) wall” which has a melancholic, lo-fi, Folk sound to it. “I guess the song is an ode to anger,” says hela. “Not in an absolute sense but as the cathartic alternative to the numb powerlessness that can take over,” she adds. “And swallow every other emotion when we find ourselves in a painful or shocking situation,” she concludes. “(a) wall” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
