Today’s Song of The Day is Bonsi’s “Mouth of Shame”, which features Harvey Causon. Bristol-based artist and producer, Bonsi describes the creative process for the song as being something new to her. “There was an element of surprise that came with collaboration, one that I hadn’t felt before”, she says. “It was refreshing to jump onto each session and witnessing this track that I had written slowly transformed with each session,” Bonsi adds. It retains Bonsi’s trademark dark and atmospheric vibe but adds a slightly more upbeat sound, reminiscent to Jamie xx’s “Gosh”. Bonsi’s “Mouth of Shame” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
