Panamanian singer/songwriter Sofía Valdés shares her gorgeous debut EP Ventura. The project which has a blissful Folk/ Pop vibe to it, was entirely written and prodcued by Sofia. “Ventura means ‘good luck and good fortune’ in Spanish,” explains Sofia. “Ventura is a collection of songs I wrote in the past 4 years,” she reveals. “I was writing about how I felt like it was the worst thing that could’ve happened to me at the time,” Sofia notes. “But now, I see it as feelings that brought me to these songs which ended up changing my life for the better,” she concludes. “Lonely” and “Little Did I Know” are two of the EP’s highlights. Ventura also includes a “Handful of Water” and Sofia’s new single “Oceans Away”. Sofia Valdes’ Ventura EP is out now on Apple Music and Spotify, you can listen to it in full below.
