Drake – When To Say When & Chicago Freestyle (Video)

Just like that Drake dropped a video for two new songs out the blue overnight. The video starts with “When To Say When” which samples Jay-Z’s 2001 Blueprint classic “Song Cry”. This part of the video was shot in New York and notably the Marcy Projects were Jay-Z grew up. Just as we’re getting into it the video switches to “Chicago Freestyle”, which features California singer Giveon. The songs are a reminder that the Canadian artist is damn good at rapping. Drake called the songs as “2020 leaks” so I’m not sure whether they’ll feature on a forthcoming album or even see a proper release. You can hear the full version of “When To Say When” here and the full version of “Chicago Freestyle” here.
