London artist Bruno Major considers himself a jazz-musician at heart, “I learnt how songs work through learning the American Songbook,” Bruno says. “Cole Porter, Jimmy Van Heusen, Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald and later on Randy Newman and Rufus Wainright.Those are my heroes.” That’s quite a list, but new single “Easily” shows that Bruno may well be on the right track. It’s the fourth release of his current 12-month long release project. “I want to put music out, a song every month, for the rest of my artistic career,” says Bruno, “until I have nothing left to say. I just want a body of work that I’m proud of. That’s it.” We’ll definitely look forward to more music if it’s this good! “Easily” is out now on
