London-based singer-songwriter shares the video for her stirring debut single, “Perfumed by You”. She wrote the song in the middle of the night at a time that she was feeling isolated. “It’s about having unrequited feelings for someone and not being able to snap out of it, as if you’re just a bit drunk on it,” the 22 year old reveals. “You are trying to get over them but can’t because everything around you is reminding you of them,” she adds.
Emma is a self-taught pianist that learned how to play by replicating film the scores of composers such as John Williams and Danny Elfman. By the sounds of it the lessons went well and I may be giving her a call for tutoring in the future too! “Perfumed by You” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
