Marlo The Barbarian doesn’t just have an awesome name, she makes good music too. She has just released her Doing Fine EP and you can watch her video for the standout track, “Fake Yourself”, below. “The Fake Yourself video is all about different phases of gaslighting in a relationship: overflow, emptiness and excess, faking it, fear, and insanity,” explains Marlo. “Each set-up is supposed to feel, “fake,” and slightly unsettling. Nothing is real and everything is real,” she adds. “Fake Yourself” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
