Ukranian singer/songwriter, Akine explores her personal battles on her new single “Lighthouse”. Akine explains, “I wrote ‘Lighthouse’ at a time when I was overwhelmed with insecurities and felt so out of place in my surroundings.” She concludes, “I hope that anyone who feels like I did will hear this and remember that they aren’t alone, and there are always ways out of bad situations.” It comes after she shared a heartfelt message on World Mental Health Day to her supporters. The song is her first bit of new music since her debut EP, Don’t Foster Fear, was released in 2018. “Lighthouse” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
