Following a five year hiatus, Adele returns with a new single and news of a new album. “Easy On Me” is the beautiful first single from her fourth album, 30, which will be released on November 19th.
The video begins with a dramatised scene with ends with Adele saying, “here we go again.” Those words are appropriate because it’s evident that Adele season is back in full swing.
Adele’s reflections on the turmoil that she’s experienced are juxtaposed with the joy that others are experiencing. This is best shown in the moment that she is passed by a couple who have just got married, she flashes a brief smile and then returns to singing about her heartbreak.
