New York-based artist RICH shares his wonderful double release, “Somebody Else/ Pull Apart The Pieces Of My Heart”. The former song is an emotive, piano-led cover of The 1975’s 2016 single “Somebody Else”. That sounds much better than the original, if you ask me.
“Pull Apart The Pieces Of My Heart” is an original written by Rich reflecting on his inner struggles. Rich describes it as being, “a song about guilt.” He says that it’s something, “members of the LGBTQ+ community who grew up in the church such as myself understand a little too intimately.” “Somebody Else/ Pull Apart The Pieces Of My Heart” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
