Novaa pays homage to the women that came before her and inspired her on her new single “She’s A Rose”. The minimal production and delicate vocals are accompanied by a choreographed video that wonderfully portrays the softness of the song.
“This song is about the women that I look up to, that share their energy, their time, their joy, and pain with me,” Novaa explains. “We all share our spaces with the ones that came before us,” she notes. “‘She’s A Rose’ is a moment of recognising and seeing them and thanking them.”
“She’s A Rose” is the title track for Novaa’s new album which will be released on released 16th July. The song is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
