Out of the blue, Lana Del Rey has just released three new singles! The songs, “Blue Banister”, “Wildflower Wildfire” and “Text Book” are the first taster of her new album, Blue Banister. She made the surprise announcement the album just 2 months after releasing her current album, Chemtrails Over The Country Club.
The album’s artwork is based on a selfie that she took in her car, while some thought she was trolling it seems that she is serious about it. She’s even used it as the basis for the artwork of her 3 new singles just with slightly different filters. It’s a return to a DIY aesthetic for an artist who first emerged with her self directed “Video Games” video.
