BEVERLEE reflects on her use of retail therapy to get over a break up on “White Piano”. The LA-based pop songwriter and producer developed an obsession with a white piano after she broke up with her partner last year. “My girlfriend and I broke up right before quarantine, and I was completely destroyed,” she notes.

As painful as it may have been I am happy to hear that BEVERLEE is happier now. “I never ended up attaining this ideal white piano,” she revelas. “I got a natural wood Yamaha U1 upright that is kinda rough and raw but sounds warm and is absolutely perfect for me,” she says.

The song is taken from BEVERLEE’s forthcoming debut album, Purple Violin, which will be released on May 28th. It is the second single to be taken from the album following “6X”, which she released in March. “White Piano” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
