Indie Pop duo nudista share a heartwarming video for their new single “confess”. The video was filmed and edited by the band’s lead singer’s sister, Mercedes. It includes old VHS footage of them as kids in and around their grandparents house. Those clips are contrasted by more recent footage of the house being empty during lock down.
Pilar wrote “confess” in the early stages of the pandemic while she was feeling overwhelmed with the fast-paced nature of life. “I was coming to terms with life in all its mundanity,” Pilar explains. “Working, paying rent, surviving the city, etc and the slow acknowledgement that predictions for life in mid-20s were inaccurate.” She adds, “‘confess’ is about coming to terms with that process and, eventually, being okay with it.” “confess” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
