Eartheater has just shared her dark but wonderful “Faith Consuming Hope” video. She shot the video in Kiev for the song which is the final track on her latest album, Phoenix: Flames Are Dew Upon My Skin. It’s a striking video for an atmospheric and captivating piece of music, wow. This is art. It Pays homage to her heritage as well and in quite a twisted way, explores some of the things that she was curious about. “I stayed with nuns a lot while growing up, and it was while asleep in the monastery that I had a lot of dreams,” Eartheater explains. “Some of which I remember being quite sexual and foreshadowing of a life and world I couldn’t even imagine,” she notes. “Glimmers of a life very much like the one I inhabit now,” she concludes. “Faith Consuming Hope” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
