daste. are back with more summer vibes on their latest track, “expectations” featuring fellow Gold Coast artist Akurei. It’s their third single of the year following “here with me” and “somebody like you”. The band explain, “Expectations is about stepping outside of the box that the world tends to put you in.” They continue, “living for yourself instead of becoming what everybody expects you to be.” The song is taken from daste.’s forthcoming debut album, dusk / dawn which is due to be released in June. “expectations” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
