Today’s Song of The Day is Tiawa’s uplifting new single, “Shine Bright”. It is a sun soaked, up beat track that draws on Soul and Reggae to create something rather lovely. “I hope it will make people feel happy when they hear it, that’s the main thing,” the Brighton-based artist says. “It’s strength to be vulnerable sometimes, we are only human,” she notes. “Shine Bright” is the second offering from the singer-songwriter/MC following “Life Is Not A Crime” on Tru Thoughts’ Shapes: Sideways compilation.
