Photo Credit: Ojoz.Mr Eazi brings us a nice portion of chilled Afrobeats on his Something Else EP. The project mixes African and Jamaican influences to create a Dancehall inspired Afropop. Something Else includes lead single “The Don” as well as “E Be Mad”. Rising Kenyan artist, Xenia Manasseh is the EP’s sole featured artist on “Cherry”. Mr Eazi is currently in Ghana, working on his third album, Life is Eazi, Vol. 3. I can’t wait to hear that if it’s as good as this.
