Photo Credit: Elly Lucas.Singer-songwriter and guitarist John Smith shares his uplifting new single “Friends”. He explains, “I wrote this song for my friends. Some of them feel more distant than others, after a year without contact.” He notes, “they’re still there, as tight as ever. I imagine a lot of people are feeling this way, to some extent.” It’s a heartwarming song that is taken form his forthcoming album which will be released in March.The song comes after a particularly tough year for John. He and his wife lost a pregnancy, his mother was diagnosed with cancer and his tour was cancelled. Hopefully though, this year will be a better one. “Friends” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
