She explains, “Parasite is a confrontational song written for a controlling and manipulative person. It explores the insidious manner in which sexism takes form.” Ailsa adds, “particularly within the inner workings of the music industry.” The song starts off quite calm and controlled but ends a bit more emotive and chaotic. Reflecting the lyrics and story arch within the song. “Parasite” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
