Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist Gillian Stone explores the affects of alcohol abuse on her psychedelic new single “Bridges”. Gillian explains, “”Bridges” is the soundscape of recovery. I wrote this song in 2009 after a summer of self-imposed turbulence.” She adds, “for over a decade, I’ve returned to it as a space to safely express shame. Now it’s morphing into a reminder, a call for self-temperance. I’m still discovering what it means.” I hope that she has overcome her demons or is on the way to doing so. “Bridges” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
