Plymouth-based band The Native surely aren’t shy of tackling difficult topics with their music. Their debut single, “Chasing Highs”, was inspired by the tragic passing of a local school girl after a drug overdose. Their follow-up single, “Break Away”, explores the Brexit and how the repercussions will affect the band’s generation. The Native’s new single, “Frontline”, delves into the tale of a person caught up in an abusive relationship. You can find resources about domestic violence here (UK) or here (US), if you or anyone that you know is affected by domestic violence. “Frontline” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
