Xelli Island is the independent dream pop project of vocalist, songwriter and shapeshifter Lianna Vanicelli. Growing up she was in a number of bands but she grew tired of all the conflicts and has found peace and solace as a solo artist. Originally from Detriot, now based in LA, Island is now gearing up for the release of her debut EP, Meet Me At The Waterfall which will be released on October 23rd. Island describes her new single, “Bad For You” as being, “the love song I’ve been wanting to write for years.” You can watch the video below which was shot in searing 105F (40C) heat, I don’t know how she didn’t melt! “Bad For You” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
