The Dawdler is the alias of Tyneside based artist, John Edgar. Today he shares “Lava Lamps”, a tribute to his friend, Ewan, who took his own life in 2015. The song is named after his friend’s huge lava lamp collection and the profits from the new single, both via Bandcamp and a limited edition t-shirt run, will go directly towards vital mental health charities Mind and Breathing Space. “Lava Lamps” is taken from The Dawdler’s forthcoming EP, Sign of Growth, which will be released this winter. The song is is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
