Headie One recently released his latest project, GANG, a surprise collaborative mixtape with Fred again… The list of featured artists will tell you that this isn’t your normal Headie One project, FKA Twigs, Jamie xx and Sampha. Octavian and Slowthai also feature on the mixtape but aren’t credited on the tracklisting. It features previous singles “Charades” and latest single “GANG”. Headie One is one of the most prominent Drill artists but on this mixtape he and Fred broaden his sound mixing in various dance elements that would have made these songs sound amazing at festivals this summer. It seems it will be a while yet before we get the old Headie back, just aswell that the new Headie is good. GANG is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
