
golda wrote her first song in 7th grade, “Genocide in Darfur,” inspired after learning about those horrific events. At 22 she began working in the industry as an assistant to a music manager and it is them that she credits as discovering her as a songwriter and developing her. After getting involved in the LA pop writing scene she says, ” I turned my attention to my own artist project after really missing writing songs that felt like me, like golda.” Although golda grew up in both Chicago and San Diego you, her affiliation with LA is clear to see on her new single. “Dear Los Angeles” is out now on Apple Music and Spotify.
